The journey
Somehow my friend Andrew, whilst we were talking about our Saga insurances, our bunions, and the onset of old age, slipped in a suggestion that we do a drive to Mongolia. Now, I like driving, am not averse to doing a circuit of the M25-but this is a long way. We are doing it for charity, to rage against the dying of the light and because we did not have a gap year.We are going in July 2010 and are not very organised.
You can sponsor us, or just give us a sticker to hold our ambulance together.
You can see our plans on: http://mongolrally10.theadventurists.com/index.php?mode=teamwebsites&teamid=3743
Stop press: I have returned, got to Ukraine, wonderful experience. My friend Andrew in a convoy going all the way. Good luck Andrew.
Stop the press even more! he reached Ulan Bataar at the end of August and the ambulance has gone to charity.
